We are a couple from Romania in love with travel! In spite of everybody thinking we were crazy (Buslife is not a well-known concept in Romania), we decided to recondition a VW Bus. We turned it into a camper and fulfilled our dream of becoming professional wanderers. Recently Xena, the wandering dog, has joined our pack. Now two people, one dog, and a VW Bus are one happy family.
Eni the VW Bus is a T3 from 1984. When we bought her, she was in big need of love. Apart from completely redoing the interior and converting her into a camper (she had been used to carry blocks of salt), we got rid of all the rust and replaced most of the electrical and mechanical parts. Converting Eni took us over 8 months but the experience of traveling and living off the grid in places we couldn’t have otherwise enjoyed makes all that effort completely worth it.
